Cara Nunn
Cara Nunn, an artist and actor, offers an inspiring, creative component to the workshops and retreats at The Equine Connection. She has led mask-making workshops, totem and spirit guide explorations, story expressions and a variety of mixed media art to support the learning given by the horses. She is a gentle art leader, bringing humour and joy to champion the work of the participants as unique and beautiful manifestations.
Cara’s work with the horses reflects her life long relationship with them as partners, athletes and teachers. Her appreciation and love of these magnificent animals is freely shared with participants as they journey into healing and greater awareness of self. She has trained in a variety of healing arts focusing on spiritual awareness and interconnectedness of all living beings. She comes from a science background with both chemistry and biology as a focus and brings a never-ending curiosity and logical approach to life and it’s mysteries.
Cara wears many hats at The Equine Connection. She co-facilitates the equine-assisted learning hours, leads the art workshops and is the cook of the nutritious meals served at the retreats! A very talented woman! You will go home from the retreat with a tangible and solid connection to your inner sacred space that you can use to remind yourself to turn inwards regularly.
