The weekend of February 18, 19 and 20th, 2017, The Equine Connection is offering three workshops that provide us humans with three ways of giving back to the animals who work and live with us. The animals in our lives provide us with enormous support, healing and love. How satisfying to connect with our four-legged comrades in a healing manner that benefits them!
On Saturday, February 18th, Zabrina Barteaux will be teaching workshop participants how to communicate with the animals they love. Zabrina communicates regularly with the herd here at The Equine Connection. The horses are very comfortable talking to her and letting her know what they need. As their caretaker, I am very grateful the horses communicate with Zabrina so I can better meet their needs.
On Sunday, February 19th, Kjara Brecknell will be teaching animal lovers to support their horse friends with cranial sacral treatments and basic osteopathic techniques. Most horses really appreciate such therapeutic touch. Learning to offer such treatments to your herd mates is one way to deepen your relationship with the animals in your life. Loving touch is essential to our health.
OnMonday, February 20th, Cara Nunn will be helping participants to connect with totem animals and deepen our emotional and spiritual connection to all animals. Connecting with animals in this manner is incredibly meaningful. It is one way to strengthen our relationship with the natural world. Deepening our relationship with nature reminds us that we are a part of nature, and each of us matters.
