One woman’s responses to the evaluation:
What will you keep with you from your experiences with the horses?
“I honestly wish there was one amazing word to sum it up: strength, courage, insight, their personalities. The respect they carried for myself, as well as each other. The communication, whether physical or verbal, to help me look into another place, a deeper understanding, to learn more about myself and my surroundings.”
What was your experience of the art?
“I have never put much thought into art. This weekend I was able to take art and learn how to put my emotions into it, creating a piece which meant something, understanding what ‘art’ really is and means to the artist behind it. It is not ‘just’ another painting.”
How were the bodywork sessions helpful?
“This was my first time experiencing bodywork. I feel as though I am lucky to have experienced such an emotional/moving experience, which will live with me until the end of time. I feel as though I can now bring myself to a place of peace thanks to these workers.”
Another woman shared the following with us:
“I came to the retreat with a guarded heart but open mind. I left with deep healing of body, mind and spirit. The retreat provided a platform of freedom, trust and respect, allowing my active curiosity to flow and self-healing to begin.”
